FARM MAP APP
Your Whole Farm on One Map
What the Farm Map Does
The Farm Map is a record keeping app for organic farms. Draw your fields on a real map of your land. Log what you plant, spray, and pick. Watch each field count down to organic. When the inspector comes, your map and your records are all in one place.

Map Your Fields
Draw each field, buffer, and border on a map of your land, and note what is next door.

Log As You Go
Inputs, plantings, harvests, and sales, saved to the field they belong to, right from your phone.

Track the 36 Months
See how long each field has left before its crop can be sold as organic.
Why Farms Want the Farm Map
Organic farms must keep records that show what happened on every field, and keep them for at least five years. Good records are the hard part of staying certified. The Farm Map makes them a habit, and our team is one tap away when you want help.

Ready for Inspection
A simple checklist shows what is done and what still needs work before inspection day.

Print for Your Plan
Field maps and logs come out ready for your Organic System Plan.

Help When You Want It
Our team can step in on plans, records, and inspection prep, right from the app.
Common Questions
What records does an organic farm have to keep?
Field maps, land history, seed and plant sources, every input you use, harvests, and sales. The records must show what happened on each field and be ready for your inspector.
How long do I have to keep organic records?
At least five years. The USDA organic rules ask for records that go back that far.
Do I need a farm map to get certified organic?
Yes. Your Organic System Plan needs a map of every field that shows borders, buffers, and what is next door.
What is the 36 month rule?
Land must go 36 months with no prohibited inputs before a crop from it can be sold as organic. The Farm Map counts down each field for you.
Who is the Farm Map for?
Farms and ranches that want every field and record in one place. Land buyers who want to see what a parcel could grow. Consultants and certifiers who need to see a client’s land and records fast.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Log inputs, plantings, and harvests in the field, on your phone, as you go.
Does it replace my paper records?
It can. Every log is tied to a field and a date, and you can print your maps and logs any time for your Organic System Plan.
Can my consultant or certifier see my records?
Only if you share them. You choose who sees what, and you can stop sharing any time.
When can I use it?
Early access is open now. Book a free call and we will save your spot and walk you through the Farm Map.
Do I need Kona Organic consulting to use it?
No. The Farm Map works on its own. Our team is there when you want help with plans, records, or inspection prep.
What You Can Track
Fields and acres. Buffers and what is next door. Seeds and plantings. Every input, with its label. Harvests by lot. Sales. The date each field can go organic.
How It Works
Draw your fields once. Log from your phone as you work. Print your maps and logs when your certifier or inspector asks.
Not Ready for an App?
Start on paper. Our free 15 log farm record workbook and 40 point certification checklist are on the Free Tools page. The Farm Map keeps the same kinds of records.
Who this is for
Farms and ranches that want every field and record in one place, and consultants who need to see a client’s land and records fast.
