What is Demeter Biodynamic certification?
It is a farm certification that builds on organic. The whole farm must be certified, not just one field or one crop.
Do I need to be certified organic first?
No. But the Demeter standard uses the USDA organic rules as its base, so many farms do both at the same time.
How is biodynamic different from organic?
Biodynamic asks for more. You set aside part of the farm for biodiversity, use the biodynamic preparations, and make more of your own fertility on the farm.
How long does it take?
It depends on your land history. Land that is already certified organic can move faster. We map your timeline on the free call.
